XRA has successfully become a partner of EDELRID ACADEMY since August 2024, and three IRATA L3 technicians were assigned by XRA to participate in EDELRID's trainings held in Germany for PPE Inspector Instructor, Safe Descent PRO Instructor and Level 3 Maintenance Technician in November 2024, these courses will be available from March 2025 onwards.

Edelrid PPE Inspector
Edelrid PPE Inspector Training course is designed for professionals from fields like work at height operations, rescues, rock climbing and outdoor activities, the aim is to teach the participants how to inspect and assess the safety and compliance of PPE.
After completing the course and passing the assessment, an Edelrid PPE Inspector certificate will be issued by EDELRID Germany.
Course Objectives
The PPE Inspector training course is created in compliance with DGUV Principle 312-906 and EN 365, to enable the participants to acquire the essential knowledge background and practical skills, and to perform professional PPE inspection, maintenance and assessment after fulfilling the training and passing the exam.

What are EDELRID ACADEMY COURSES?
EDELRID, a safety expert from Isny, Germany, has found a professional training academy with their valuable experiences and knowledge as a manufacturer, to provide the training skills, safety, inspection and maintenance for PPE. They also cover safety topics related to sports and industrial operations, so the participants are able to learn complete information.
PPE Inspections
As stated in EU regulations, category III PPE requires regular inspections, and extra inspections are needed after a significant incident, both have to be performed by competent personnel with auxiliary devices and information documents to assess before further uses. During the course, we will go though material analysis, regulation and standard, practical inspection discussion, etc. to avoid assumptions based on experiences any longer, therefore to keep an eye on everyone's safety.
